The NHBW "Reading for Life" Photo Story of Programming for the Joliet and Camden Chapters. Programs include Real Men Read, Family Read Night, Ladies' Read Night, Parenting Sessions, Volunteer Day for Creating NHBW, Inc. Reading Rooms, Participation in the Reading Centers, Book Drives and Giveaways, and afterschool visitation and tutoring.

Live Long, Live Well Walking Program for Seniors
State of New Jersey

The program encourages seniors and people with disabilities to be proactive for maintaing good health.  We encourage participation from 50+ year adults to register at our annual Health Fairs.  Seniors log their walking progress and those who complete the 12 week requirments receive recognition from New Jersey's Governor.  For more information click on the following link:  http://www.state.nj.us/caregivernj/basic/health&wellness/walking.shtml
