Mission Statement
To achieve the goals of NHBW, all Chapters aim to "hook-up" with individuals, organizations and institutions whose goals are to foster and promote the economic and social development of Black women and their families, our elders and local fellowships. NHBW also constitutes a National support base for all Black women who serve in positions of leadership and are responsible activists in the struggle for equal opportunities for Black women in all aspects of life.
Camden, New Jersey Chapter
The Camden chapter of NHBW encourages community involvement. Our members devote their time and talents because we recognize the impact of our work on the lives of many who are underserved in their communities.
These women are dedicated to a long-term course of action and involvement. The tasks for our volunteers include hands-on community support and services for feeding the homeless, providing scholarships for our Black youth, promoting the endeavors and empowerment of Black women, support of the elderly and Black families.

Lend Your SupportNHBW is a volunteer organization. Money from membership dues and fundraisers help to support local community initatives. Contributions made by individuals, companies and foundations allow us to continue programs and activities for local projects in the communities we serve. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, please sign the Guest Book, and let us know how you can be contacted. Participate by showing your patronage. No contribution is too small. Did you know that a $75 donation helps a senior reduce the cost of prescription medications or provides a family with a holiday meal? A $250 donation defrays some of the costs for our college-bound scholarship recipients. View our website to see what the Camden Chapter does community-wide, and make sure to stay up-to-date with our Fundraisers.
